Technical Sales Position

We are currently seeking a highly motivated technical salesperson for the St Louis, Missouri area. The successful candidate will sell, survey, and perform basic troubleshooting and service work on compressed air dryers and auxiliary compressed air system equipment in pharmaceutical facilities, refineries, chemical plants, power plants, food processing and related industries. This position will support other Condit represented products as well. Duties include:

  • Maintain contact with existing customers and prospect for new accounts
  • Start-up, maintenance, trouble-shooting and recognizing component and/or system failure, involving mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues (full training/support provided)
  • Diagnose compressed air systems from compressor intake to point-of-use, communicate to both customer and internal group your findings and work together towards resolution

    Qualifications:

  • Sales Aptitude
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Process equipment or Instrument and control systems background preferred, technical aptitude required
  • Flexibility to travel regionally to support our large customer base
  • Ability to pass personal background checks (going back up to 10 years in some cases), drug/alcohol screenings and safety training courses. These are requirements by our customers before we are allowed on site
