Shop work cost is based on a fixed fee basis for routine work, and on a time-and-material basis for non-routine work. Field service work is based on a time-and-material basis plus travel and subsistence costs. Certain on-site survey work, such as steam trap and compressed air quality surveys, may be done on a promotional "no-charge basis" if the work is limited in scope and duration.
