SIHI Side Channel Pumps
SIHI Side Channel pumps are optimized to pump liquids with entrained gas or air. The lateral channel stages of the pump's turbine eliminate vapor locking.

Compared to centrifugal pumps, SIHI's Side Channel pumps have higher heads and efficiency in the low capacity range. Additionally, Side ChannelSIHI side channel pump pumps are self-priming and can handle large amounts of entrained gas unlike centrifugal pumps. To meet the requirements of different process applications in the food, chemical and other industries, SIHI manufactures four Side Channel pump versions:

  • Cast iron
  • Bronze wetted
  • 316 stainless steel wetted
